May 12 – Our Great Jehovah. Exodus 3:14; “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you”.

God just told Moses He (God) is Jehovah; He is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, and unchangeable. It couldn’t be more clear that He is not a created being, but the Creator Himself. He did not spring from man’s loins as we did, and yet the Mormon Church fuels itself on their self-made theory, “The Law of Eternal Progression”. This means God is ever increasing in receiving glory from all the beings he created, which don’t necessarily all live here on this planet. He did this after living on an earth like ours and earning the right to become a god. For the Mormon, this is true salvation.
The other problem with this whole scenario is whom they believe God is. For the Mormon, Jehovah is the pre-existent Jesus, not God. However, we plainly see in Exodus here of no hint the Godhead is made up of 3 different gods, or that only Jesus is Jehovah.
