July 13 – Being held captive by freedom in Christ. 2 Cor. 10:5; “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”.
_____
Think upon Christ, what He has to offer, what He has to give to us. When we do these things, we are held captive through His glory and righteousness. Oh, to be so blessed in knowing the things of Jesus, instead of our own imaginations and ideas of what we want things to be. The Mormons truly believe all these things existed in the Americas even after the scientists, historians, and archaeologists have shown there is no physical evidence of any of these things.
_____
3 Nephi 3:22; “…the proclamation throughout all the face of the land and they had taken their horses, and their chariots, and their herds, and their grain and all their substance…”
The Mormon’s desire to believe the deception outweighs their desire for Truth. Once they see how beautiful Truth is, they will no longer accept anything but the Truth!
Amen to that!!! It was very hard to accept that everything I believed about salvation, Joseph Smith, B of M, etc. was a fabricated lie. But from the time I was born, that was all that I was taught or ever knew. Only through the Holy Spirit was I able to even consider looking into, researching, and comparing Mormonism to Biblical Christianity.
I am really enjoying your book… Anybody that is on the fence about Mormonism would do themselves a great justice by reading it. I really love your “prayers of healing” at the end of each chapter. Your book is a blessing!
