January 30 — Sins Forgiven with a W-2. James 5:2-4 “Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.”

The LDS Church was built upon the precept that all other churches were of the devil. Smith surmised Christian churches were only offering forgiveness of sins if members would pony up monetarily. Ask your Mormon friend why their church is now doing the very thing Smith condemned others of doing. Mormons can’t enter the temple and receive true salvation if they can’t prove their worthiness with a temple recommend. The recommend is only obtained when they show proof they’ve paid the Church at least 10% of their income. Ask if they see any problem with having to prove their worthiness with a W-2 form.

Mormon 8:32; “Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be churches built up that shall say: Come unto me, and for your money you shall be forgiven of your sins.”
The Mormon church is quick to judge people either worthy or unworthy, based on an interview that is conducted with the Bishop or Stake President. Worthiness is determined, not by the content of one’s heart, and faith toward God, but by the outward appearance of conformity to the Mormon Church. A single mother of three young children, works one full time job and one part time job, holds down 2 church callings and is then denied a temple recommend because somebody reported seeing her in Starbucks enjoying a cup of coffee. A hard working man, holding down two callings; one calling that requires him to clean the church every Saturday morning; another calling requires him to take the Ward’s Boy Scouts on weekend outings every month and to hold Scout meetings every week. This man is denied a Temple recommend because somebody reported during the last month, how unselfishly he has worked indexing and bringing family names to the temple, wants to remind everybody how long he has been married and how many of kids have gone on missions. This man is a proud temple recommend holder. This same man is 30-40 pounds over weight, refuses to exercise or control his eating. HOW COME FAT PEOPLE CAN HAVE A TEMPLE RECOMMEND?
