April 23 – Making things up as you go. Romans 1:20 says; “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”

Doesn’t it stand to reason if God ordained a work to be done He’d supply all your needs? For instance, let’s say He wants you to write scripture, I’d venture to say He’d make sure you had enough plates. or papyri to get His word written. and at the same time not cause you to sin.
The verses below sound as if they’re making up an excuse for future changes in case they’ve made mistakes.

Mormon 9:32-34; “And now, behold, we have written this record according to our knowledge, in the characters which are called among us the reformed Egyptian, being handed down and altered by us, according to our manner of speech. And if our plates had been sufficiently large we should have written in Hebrew; but the Hebrew hath been altered by us also; and if we could have written in Hebrew, behold, ye would have had no imperfection in our record. But the Lord knoweth the things which we have written, and also that none other people knoweth our language; therefore he hath prepared means for the interpretation thereof.”
They also give an excuse for the made up language.
“He that worketh deceit, shall not dwell within my house: he that tell iies shall not tarry within my sight.” (Psalm 101:7)
“Why hast thou conceived the thing ion thine heart? For thou hast not lied unto men , but unto God.” (Acts 5:4)
They have so little space to write on, yet spent a long paragraph wasting space to explain why they are short of space!!!!
