May 22 – Laws v Love. John 4:10; “Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”
_____
Ah, the gift of living water. I am so comforted knowing that I can drink of it whenever I am thirsty, and will always be filled with His provision of love, grace, and mercy. All the things I am not worthy of, but He gives to me freely in spite of myself, and all because He loves me. Please, share this verse with the Mormon in your life!
Their prophet is false – his version of the New and Everlasting Covenant is a corrupt interpretation of God’s truth. As Jesus told the woman at the well, those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth (v. 24). Jesus came to fulfill the very laws Mormonism has tried to reinstate.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye abide my law ye cannot attain to this glory. Abide what law? The law of the new and everlasting covenant, which is all the covenants. What a wonderful promise! And it is open to us; it is a free gift; it doesn’t cost us anything; only righteousness, faith, obedience; and surely we can pay that price.”Joseph Fielding Smith Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 2, p, 63.
The Mormon church has set up Book Loads of LAWS that people must follow (comply with) for salvation. “Knowing that a man is not justified by the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith in Jesus Christ and Not by the Works of the Law, for by the Works of the Law, No Flesh Shall be Justified.” (Galatians 2:16)…..Salvation comes through faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ for the Remission of Sins and not by Saving Ordinances performed in a Mormon Temple
So, what’s so “amazing” about the lds version of grace?
2 Nephi 25:23…it’s by grace that we are saved, AFTER all we can do.
It’s an “if , then” statement. After all you can do, THEN the grace.
Just like your parents told you, if you eat your veggies, then you get dessert
If you believe this, Paul tells us in Galatians Christ has no effect on you..
