May 11 – Settling for a Lesser god. Heb. 7:24, 27-28; “But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”

Today’s Mormon works are problematic, with at least three issues we’ll look at today. 1. It’d be quite difficult at best to look forward to something that’s already happened. 2. The time frame for this passage is bc 62 which means Jesus hadn’t been born yet. 3. There’s no need for a high priest in the churches since Jesus Christ holds that position.
Ask a Mormon how you look forward to something that is already done. The God of the Bible doesn’t make mistakes, so why settle for a lesser god?

Alma 13:1; “And again, my brethren, I would cite your minds forward to the time when the Lord God gave these commandments unto his children; and I would that ye should remember that the Lord God ordained priests, after his holy order, which was after the order of his Son, to teach these things unto the people”.
