July 6 – Does God dwell in the heart? John 14:23; “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

In the Book of Mormon we read that God indeed indwells His people. Alma 34:36; “And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be made white through the blood of the Lamb.”
Why then does Mormon canon contradict this simple thing? Ask the Mormon you know if he/she believes that God is inside of them right now.

D&C 130:3; “John 14:23–The appearing of the Father and the Son, in that verse, is a personal appearance; and the idea that the Father and the Son dwell in a man’s heart is an old sectarian notion, and is false.”
“In all regards” 2 Corinthians 4:6-7; Ephesians 3:17 *smiles*
“Have a favored day!
Amen! Good to hear from you & blessings to you as well!

MORMONS DON’T BELIEVE GOD CAN DWELL IN A PERSON BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE THAT GOD IS FLESH AND BONE (DC 130:1). THEY BELIEVE THAT ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN DWELL INSIDE A PERSON BECAUSE HE IS A SPIRIT. THEY TOTALLY IGNORE JOHN 4:24 WHERE GOD SAYS THAT HE IS A SPIRIT.
Mormons are very confused because they are often outside the presence of God” For God is not the author of confusion ,but of peace as in all churches of the saints. (1 Corinthians 14:33)
