April 25 — The Definition of Kingdom Building. Acts 2:47 “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
_____
The list of ways God adds to His Kingdom is immeasurable. What’s key to this topic is the definition. The never ending list of must-do’s and don’ts in Mormonism is a tool implemented by those in authority as a coercive trick to keep people busy. It doesn’t build the Kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God grows when the Lord adds to His flock by saving people. When true believers gather, they’ll institute Bible studies, etc. These activities are the result of, not the cause, of growth in God’s Kingdom!

“I wish also to commend you, my brothers and sisters, wherever you are throughout the world, for all that you do in your wards and branches, your stakes and districts. As you willingly fulfill callings when you are asked, you are helping to build the kingdom of God on earth.” — Thomas S. Monson, “God Be with You Till We Meet Again”
“And when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.” (John 12:32)
” Lifted up”; might mean, the raising of the cross from the earth, with Jesus already bound (nails and ropes) to it. If you tell others of my sacrifice for the remission of their sins, you will glorify me. As you glorify me and praise me to those around you, I will draw those people to me. Remember, faith cometh by hearing by sharing meaning the Words of God (Romans 10:17).
