May 8 — The Line in the Sand. Matthew 12:30 “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.”
_____
Our dear Lord made it quite clear. The line has been drawn, and He is the author of it.
If you’re not following Him, you’re the enemy.
Each time I think of my people in this perspective, my heart becomes heavy once again. I was telling a good friend the other day, my goal in ministry is to be gainfully unemployed, and He’s the sole reason I’m getting closer to that goal! We’re all witnesses to the unprecedented number of Mormons crossing the line Jesus drew.
In a strange way, the 2020 pandemic can work in the favor of bringing even more Mormons out. As they ponder the words in conference talks given by LDS leaders, it’s easy enough to see the only thing they have to offer is reminding members to doubt God’s word. If you doubt God’s word, whose side are you really on?

General Conference, ‘Shall We Not Go On In So Great A Cause?’ April 2020 “Joseph came to realize that the Bible did not contain all the answers to life’s questions; rather, it taught men and women how they could find answers to their questions by communicating directly with God through prayer.” — M. Russell Ballard
Jesus is the Gate keper of the sheep pen. Those sheep belonging to him, will only follow His voice. The voice of another shephard or hired worker (church leader, priesthold holder etc), they will not follow. They follow only the voice of their shephard, Jesus Christ. Only Jesus can lead them from the sheep pen into life eternal.
Joe Smith was the voice of a false shephard, Had members been well versed in the Bible, they would not have listened to Joe Smith (John 10:1-6)
