September 7 — God’s Loving Provision. Hebrews 1:1-2 “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds”.

Think back to the time when you first realized God was speaking to you personally through His word. I pray this memory is what drives you each day as you live your life with Jesus. For me it happened as a young girl in Utah.
When I realized He was speaking to me, I held tight to His words whenever contradictory LDS doctrines were presented as I was growing up in Utah Mormonism. I didn’t always comprehend the full extent of what Jesus said, but it was enough to capture my attention, and I held on tight.
I pray you’ll know that if God would do this for me, He’ll do it for you too! I knew no other Christians at the time, yet God reached down and spoke to me personally. Be sure you share your experience of how God spoke to you with a Mormon you know!
The LDS reference today has members looking everywhere but His word for direction. Unfortunately, they have the truth in their hands today if they’d only open their Bibles.

Prophets Speak by the Power of the Holy Spirit “Brothers and sisters, I want to testify to you that President Russell M. Nelson is the prophet of God on earth. I have never seen anyone more kind and loving than he is. Though I felt so inadequate for this sacred call, his words and the tender look in his eyes as he extended this responsibility made me feel embraced by the Savior’s love. Thank you, President Nelson. I sustain you and I love you.
Isn’t it a blessing to have prophets, seers, and revelators on earth in these days in which we live, who seek to know the will of the Lord and follow it? It is comforting to know that we are not alone in the world, despite the challenges we face in life. Having prophets is a sign of God’s love for His children. They make known the promises and the true nature of God and of Jesus Christ to Their people. I have learned that through my personal experiences.” — Ulisses Soares
Michelle, it sounds to me like you were a believer longer than you think you were…PTL. I can only hope and pray my friend and her husband feel the same way about Jesus, and not the limited Jesus that the LDS church has reduced him to.
Quick question…Who did Jesus appoint as president of his church when he originally established it?
So where has President Nelson been during the covid-19 pandemic??? Sitting on the billions of dollars and telling the saints to wave a hanky? As a former doctor, profit (oops) Nelson has the money and resources to get the much needed medical equipment and supplies to the places most affected.
I sustain and love you too president Nelson.
