September 23 – Who Holds the Power? Isaiah 64:1 “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, That the mountains might flow down at thy presence.”

According to the Mormon Church, their president is the sole person who will be in charge when it comes to gathering everyone in the last days. No mention of the Lord and His role in the whole affair, so it comes as no surprise this isn’t mentioned in the Bible…
Ask the Mormon why such an important subject matter would so greatly contradict what God tells us. Show them from your Bible what the Lord says and ask why their names aren’t mentioned in scriptures like the one in Isaiah!

Mormon Doctrine, p. 458 “In due course the Lost Tribes of Israel will return and come to the children of Ephraim to receive their blessings. This great gathering will take place under the direction of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for he holds the keys of “the gathering of Israel from the four parts of the earth, and the leading of the ten tribes from the land of the north.” (D. & C. 110:11.) Keys are the right of presidency the power to direct; and by this power the Lost Tribes will return, with “their prophets” and their scriptures to “be crowned with glory, even in Zion, by the hands of the servants of the Lord, even the children of Ephraim.” (D. & C. 133:26-35.)”
I don’t believe that President Nelson or any other church prophet, past or present, would ever be capable of gathering God’s people together.
Take a look at what is going on in the world today. Demonic forces, led by the Prince of the World himself, have subjected the people of this world, to violent chaos and destruction. LDS Church leaders have said very little in the way of criticism or condemnation of the evil, that controls ourcity streets today.
Why haven’t church leaders been dispatched to places like Portland, Seattle, Chicago, to conduct prayer rallies and to share the Gospel with the people?. After all, Faith Comes by Hearing the Gospel of Christ (Romans 10:17). What would Paul, Silas, Peter, David, Jeremiah, do today if they were citizens of this world? Would they have simply sat down in their offices, posed for photo ops, dictated a few words of encouragement to a secretary, to be passed on to whomever, Or, would they have confronted the darkness head on, by preaching the Gospel of Christ and acting as witnesses to the mighty Power of God? What did Jesus do when he was confronted (tempted) by the Devil, as recorded in Matthew 4:1-11? Jesus countered Satan by reciting scripture: “It Is Written, It is Written”. Satan couldn’t hold up under the Power of God’s Word, and so, he fled.
How come nobody outside the Mormon community has ever heard of Russell Nelson? Is it because he lacks the desire, power, conviction and ability, to unite people under the Banner of Jesus Christ?
Lots of Mormons, especially young men and women, are now embracing the values of today’s revolution. I was in Utah recently and saw numerous BLM signs posted. Today’s young people are seeing the world thru the Eyes of the World, rather than through the Eyes of God. Read the scriptures, immerse yourselves the God’s Word, and then you will be able
to see the world as God sees the world. Decide what side you are gonna be on, the side of destruction and violence, or the side of God. Remember what Jesus said in Revelations 3:15,15: “I would rather have you hot or cold then Luke Warm. If you are Luke Warm, I will spew you out of my mouth.”
By the way, Franklin Graham is going to be holding a big prayer rally in Wash DC this week. He is going to share God’s Word with many people and I would bet, that even some member of ANTIFA and BLM, give their lives to Christ, because of Rev Graham’s devotion to the gospel and his love for people.
Perhaps, Pres Nelson could join the Rev Graham. Do you think that might happen? Or,do you think that Pres Nelson and his GA’a, might instead be planning on how to avoid changing the name of Brigham young University to a name more in line with the politically correct values of today’s world?

THANK YOU my friend for your awesome words and insight!!!
As a resident in the Seattle area I’ve seen numerous churches hold prayer rallies and walks in the heart of our very troubled city. My church is on that list, and we pray diligently for peace to come back to our beloved city.
As it is today, one of the iconic fish and food markets (Pike Place Market) is closed with no word of when the violence might end. I for one, have been mourning the loss. As an FYI, there are more than 240 businesses in the market.
Our city has been besieged with absolute mayhem. Another 100+ companies outside of Pike Place have also packed their bags and left town. It’s hard to see how they’ll ever recoup the great losses. 🙁
It’s interesting you mentioned Franklin Graham. About 2 months or so ago, he started an ad campaign here in the Seattle area to come to Jesus. It airs every night just before the 5 pm news. I too have wondered what would happen if the LDS Church aired such ads. They have a mighty presence here in the NW, and have deep pockets. Imagine the impact they’d have if they were preaching Jesus and Him crucified!
As the saying goes, ‘No Jesus, No Peace. Know Jesus, Know Peace’.
