May 20 – Railing on Jesus. Mark 15:29 “And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days.”

Our Bible verse for today may seem out of place, but the objective here is to show an example of how some people have wagged their fingers of disbelief, and railed on Jesus. Preaching a message that Jesus paid for sins anywhere but the cross, is equivalent to mocking our Lord as He hung there to pay for the sin you’re committing. It’s denying His actions are the fulfillment of scripture, and the exact location of where He paid the price is of utmost import in this case!
