Mr. Smith made a very similar statement about the Book of Mormon when he said it was the most correct book on the face of the earth. History of the Church 4:461
To date, there are more than 5,000 known errors and changes that have been made to it.
If the BoM was the signature book of Mormonism with so many errors, how can someone trust the JST (Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible) would be any different?
