October 23 –– Jesus, not Joseph is from the Davidic Line. Jeremiah 33:14-15; “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. 15 ¶ In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.”
Luke 3:23-31; “And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, 24 Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi… 31 …which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David”.

Jesus, the Descendant of David… Only Jesus filled the shoes of what God had promised. Only the Messiah was the descendant spoken of, and came from the royal line we read about in Luke. Joe Smith tricked many people into believing he was the righteous branch spoken of, and the promise God gave to His children, alas, Smith wasn’t even Jewish, let alone the chosen promise of God! Tell the Mormon you know they can read about Jeremiah’s fulfilled prophecy in Luke!
