‘Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?’ Psalm 56:8
A simple thank you doesn’t seem to do justice for the gratitude we have for everyone who selflessly gave their lives so we could live in safety and peace here in America.
From the Revolutionary War to Iraq and Afghanistan, and all those who died for this country in any combat situation each life stands as a solid reminder to us of what we’ve gained and what others have lost.
And lest we forget the four lives lost on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi.
Our prayers today are for the loved ones left behind. Mothers, fathers, wives, husbands and children have sacrificed much for all of us who call the United States home. May God richly bless and keep you all.
With Love in Christ —
