July 26 — Mormon God Corrects Himself in Scripture. Alma 24:19 “And thus we see that, when these Lamanites were brought to believe and to know the truth, they were firm, and would suffer even unto death rather than commit sin; and thus we see that they buried their weapons of peace, or they buried the weapons of war, for peace.”

2 Tim. 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

The BoM verse above is just one of the reasons I can’t believe in Mormonism.
Clearly leaving your correction in the text of the scripture isn’t inspired. This isn’t the standard the Lord gave scribes to write scripture and must be disregarded.
For a really cool and well documented site on how biblical scribes copied texts see Probe Ministries’ article we retrieved from Leaderu.com.
Please pray for Mormons to read a Bible. Also share how the Lord wouldn’t do things like this because His word is perfect as it says in Psalm 18:30 ‘As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.’

Hard for me to believe in a god who makes mistakes.
Yeah, if He could make mistakes in scripture what else could He make mistakes on? Just sayin’,,,
