September 23 — Mormons Not Dependent Upon God. Newsweek, “What Mormons Believe,” September 1, 1980, p. 68 “Mormon doctrine means that ultimately we are not dependent upon God for our existence. And since we can make ourselves as godly as the Father, we don’t feel any jealousy toward him.” – BYU Professor James E. Ford

2 Tim. 2:16 “But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”

Every time I think I’ve found the most blasphemous teaching of the Mormon Church another rears its ugly head.
How very sad to have placed your hope in a religion that doesn’t even need God and still call yourself a Christian.
Mormons don’t need to read the Newsweek article to find out if what they said is true. Their own teachings show they don’t need the Lord when they’re trying to become gods themselves.
Pray for Mormons to see the folly in their religion and beg Jesus for salvation!
With Love in Christ —
