April 10 — Conference Quote: Joe Smith the Singular World History Event. General Conference, ‘The Times of Restitution of All Things’, April 2025 “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized 195 years ago today, on April 6, 1830. …
In reestablishing His Church, the Lord designated by revelation 24-year-old Joseph Smith as its earthly leader: “a seer, a translator, a prophet, an apostle of Jesus Christ, an elder of the church through the will of God the Father, and the grace of your Lord Jesus Christ.”
I earnestly pray for the help of the Holy Ghost as we consider the importance and ongoing impact of this singular event in the history of the world.” — David Bednar

Acts 1:9 “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”

I did a simple Google search looking for what people said about the singular event in history. I found results that ranged from the Big Bang Theory to the invention of the printing press to the American Revolution. The one thing that kept coming up was Jesus’ resurrection.
Not one site mentioned Joe Smith. Neither head nor hair on the sites I read even mentioned anything about Mormons let alone ol’ Joe.
Mr. Bednar’s talk was filled with wannabe’s. Historically speaking Smith’s legacy will be marked with someone who led millions away from the Lord and the violent life he lived.
The most singular event in history is of course Jesus’ resurrection!
Pray that Mormons will disregard Bednar’s talk and realize Jesus is the answer!

No words…😟
I felt the same. I thought they were told to be nice to those who aren’t of their faith….
No one by Mormons would see it as a “singular” event in the history of the world. It was nothing but a bump in the road,
