None of the talks at General Conference have spoken about the fact that Jesus was crucified for our sins. To borrow a phrase from Melissa Grimes they use the word atonement as if they’re applying an ointment to cover up something.
In light of this we have a few questions about Mr. Gong’s talk..
1.How does Easter make it easy for us to mend relationships with others? Easter is about what God did, not what we can do!
2.Who besides the Mormons see Joe Smith’s new religion as one of eternity’s greatest gifts?
3.How does Easter help people on both sides of the veil?
4.Why does Easter help people feel approved of? If you’re a believer, you should already know He loves you!
