There are two major problems in Joe Smith’s writings from the BoM.
1.The anachronism seen in 1st Nephi above is just one of the problems seen in the BoM text.
Why did an angel ask Nephi if he remembered something that hadn’t happened yet? Nephi supposedly lived c. 600-592 BC.
Jesus commissioned His apostles c. 30 AD.
2.The word apostle (Apostolos) is a Greek word. Smith said there was no Greek nor Latin on the plates he claimed to translate.
Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 299 “There was no Greek of Latin upon the plates from which I, through the grace of God, translated the Book of Mormon.”

Smith deceived many people even though he was uneducated(like they say). If God gave him the words then there shouldn’t of been mistakes. God doesnt make mistakes. But Smith did. He invented polygamy when he got caught. He came up with things that worked for him. Prayers for all Mormons 🙏
