Ms. Dennis’ comment is a classic example of the blind leading the blind.
Let’s take a look at the problems in her talk.
1.If she knew the Bible, she’d know that God would never desert believers.
2.Compounding that problem is how she seems to be contradicting what they said about their huge gain of 900K converts. These numbers supposedly included those who came back into the Church. Why are they pleading with new converts not to leave the one true church?
3.As we pointed out in a post last week, God doesn’t need our help. This has to be one of the most dismal talks I’ve read in quite a while.
Pray that Mormons will wonder why the Church already has a retention problem and realize it’s not them but the Church!
