MJ –
Your family sounds like mine!
My husband Kirk retired from the Air Force (was in for 23 yrs.) Was in the 1st Gulf War. Our daughter Jacquelyn was born while he was gone. She was 2 months old when he returned.
I wrote an article awhile back about the vets in my life –
Twelve American Heroes You Should Know
https://lifeafterministry.com/2022/05/twelve-american-heroes-you-should-know/
although it was written for Memorial Day it kind of fits in w/ our conversation here. 🙂
Tell your husband, son, and other relatives, thanks for serving!
Michelle
Thanks. How could I forget my dad that passed in 2018. He was a Korean war veteran. He saw alot. But made it home safely. He went home to marry the love of his life( my mom)and have 7 kids. He lived to be 88.
Happy veterans day.
M.j.
Hi MJ!
thanks to your dad – although he’s no longer w/ us. My father-in-law served in the Korean War as well. He was a larger-than-life type of guy, and we still miss him – he died in 2002.
Thank u. Thanks to all your family members that served too. God bless u and your family.
