“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”. 1 Timothy 2:5 [emp. added]
January 31 — Ensign, ‘Joseph Smith among the Prophets’, June 1994 “To be sure, we worship the Father in the name of the Son; Christ our Lord is the way to the Father, and his is the only name under heaven whereby man can be saved. But, as we have seen, the dispensation head is the preeminent prophetic revealer of Christ. Thus, to bear witness of Joseph Smith is to bear witness of Jesus Christ, who sent him, in the same way that a testimony of Christ also implies clearly a testimony of the Eternal Father, who sent Him. On the other hand, to deny Joseph Smith outright—…—is to deny the Lord, who sent him.
Jesus told his disciples that “he that despiseth you despjiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me” (Luke 10:16)…” — Robert L. Millet

God has warned us so many times to watch out for false prophets, apostles and teachers. Our list could go on for a month of Sundays but we’re limiting ourselves to just two verses –
Jeremiah 14:14 “Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”

2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”

There’s nothing in the Bible telling believers they must accept someone alongside Christ Jesus the Lord!
Mr. Millet’s threats aren’t just his own opinion. The Church sanctioned what he said and are obviously trying to trick members into believing these lies!
If you’re LDS, please know that God would never tell people that denying Joe Smith is to deny Jesus!
Here’s what God said in Romans 10:9 —
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
That’s it beloved! Confessing Jesus is the only thing God said to do to be saved!
Moreover, don’t forget what Paul wrote to Timothy that there is only one mediator between man and God. This means Joe Smith isn’t in the equation.
If you’re a Christian, please share this with a Mormon today!
