February 28 — A Marvelous Work and a Wonder, p. 69 “The bringing forth of the Book of Mormon is a “marvellous work and a wonder”. The wise men and prudent men of the world cannot account for it in any other way than the story told by Joseph Smith, and he did not get it, neither could he have gotten it, by reading the Bible only. He received it by revelation from the Lord through the Angel Moroni.” — LeGrand Richards

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

As I’ve said before about Mr. Richards’ book it’s a wonder all right. I can’t help but wonder why the Church thought so highly of this man’s work. For a long time, they even had their missionaries use it as a tutorial when they went out knocking on doors.
It’s heartbreaking to see how their premiere theologian seemed to brag that Smith didn’t need a Bible.
I have to keep reminding myself this isn’t about flesh and blood but the powers and principalities of the air – Eph. 6:12.
If you’re LDS what are your thoughts about Mr. Richards’ statement that Joseph Smith didn’t need a Bible?
Please, if you’re a Christian ask a Mormon for their opinion about this and don’t forget to pray!

[…] Joseph Smith’s BoM Needed Revelations not the Bible […]
Satan uses egos of men to lead millions to hell. 😪😪
Amen to that! Sadder still is how many fall for the shenanigans of people like Smith and Richards. I’m sure they’re not bragging about their behavior right now.
I can’t help but wonder what the Lord must think…
