Exodus 15:11; “Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
As most people know, Mormonism was founded by Joseph Smith, Jr., a 14 year old farm boy from upstate New York in the early 1800’s. He descended from parents, who by most accounts, delved in the world of various types of witchcraft, as is evidenced from writings and sermons he delivered until his death in 1844.
Initially, the god Smith embraced had many similarities with the God of the Bible, but as time progressed, so did his god. By the time of his death, the religious empire he built held few, if any vestiges of Christianity, and looked more like a hodgepodge of several religious gods combined.
