The name of this week’s lesson is “He Took Up the Mantle of Elijah” and it centers on the story of when Elisha took Elijah’s mantle to become God’s prophet for Israel. The lesson focuses on what Mormons can do to increase their willingness to follow the counsel of Church leaders and the instructors are told to testify the president of the Church is a prophet just as Elisha was.
Anyone or anything that disagrees with the LDS Church is considered anti-Mormon. Yet, the Church considers themselves to be a Christian church.
