May 20 — Temple Recommend Questions Updated. In his closing remarks during the October 2019 General Conference President Russell M. Nelson announced there will be a change to the questions church members will be asked in their temple recommend interviews.
Each member of the Mormon Church must undergo an interview process to receive their temple recommendation. This happens when they’re preparing to go to the temple for the first time, need to have their temple-recommend renewed for two years, or are going to perform baptisms for the dead on a Youth Temple Trip.
