2 Timothy 2:13; “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

 Ah, the Bible. Where would we be without it? Of equal import, where have you been with it?

All true believers know our Bibles are part of our daily existence, and because of that we’ve compiled a go-to list of verses you can share while witnessing of where the Bible has declared itself trustworthy and reliable.

In spite of the hundreds of bible verses declaring God’s word is dependable, leaders of the LDS Church  still think otherwise. The tentacles of their not-so-subtle disdain for God’s perfect word, have been firmly entrenched in the fertile soil of the Intermountain West since the mid nineteenth century. Cautionary directives like those from Orson Hyde reveal true Mormonism –

Journal of Discourses 2:75-76 “The words contained in this Bible are merely a history of what is gone by; it was never given to guide the servant of God in the course he should pursue.  The Bible is not a sufficient guide, it is only the history of the people who lived 1800 years ago. The history of our Church in this day, presents the scenes and transactions of this people—the revelations and words of God to them…” Orson Hyde, Salt Lake City, October 6, 1854
