Who is the Mormon god?
3 Nephi 11:14; “Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world.”
Alma 20:28; “And Ammon said: This is God. And Ammon said unto him again: Believest thou that this Great Spirit, who is God, created all things which are in heaven and in the earth?”
D&C 20:19; “And gave unto them commandments that they should love and serve him, the only living and true God, and that he should be the only being whom they should worship.”
Abraham 4:1; “And then the Lord said: Let us go down. And they went down at the beginning, and they, that is the Gods, organized and formed the heavens and the earth.”
The Mormon people are given so many conflicting messages about their god it’s no wonder there’s confusion in the minds of its members.
In 3rd Nephi they’re told Jesus is God.
Alma said the Great Spirit is God and created everything in heaven and earth.
In Doctrine and Covenants their Heavenly Father is the only god.
In Abraham there are countless gods who “organized” the earth.
If they’re to believe in the one and only true god ask them which one of the gods their heavenly father worships and if they’re worshiping Jesus as their god or their heavenly father.
Each of their sacred works describes a different god of Mormonism.
