2 Nephi 22:2; “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.”
The word Jehovah is the English transliteration of the Hebrew word YHWH (Yahweh). How did Nephi know this word some 200+ years before Greek was a language?
Greek was used by rulers and the upper classes of society as early as 323 BC, but it wasn’t used by the general public for another 100 or so years.
Moreover, Smith promised there were no Greek or Latin words upon the brass or golden plates so why is this scripture in his “translation” of Reformed Egyptian”?
