Don’t Share Scripture with Non-Believers
Moses 1:42; “(These words were spoken unto Moses in the mount, the name of which shall not be known among the children of men. And now they are spoken unto you. Show them not unto any except them that believe. Even so. Amen.)”
1 Corinthians 15:3; “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.”
This verse in the Bible is a good example to refute what Smith wrote in the book of Moses. If Paul hadn’t been taught from and witnessed to using the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) then how would he have known the truth?
While Paul obviously already knew the OT being a Pharisee, it only stands to reason when Gamamiel sat and reasoned with Paul he did so through means of what Jesus said, what the OT said, etc.
Why wouldn’t you utilize what God ordained as holy? This is very strange indeed!
