Ensign, July 1972, “The Covenant of the Priesthood,” pg 98; “My boy, you always keep your eye on the President of the Church, and if he tells you to do something wrong, and you do it, the Lord will bless you for it.” – Prophet Heber J. Grant, as quoted by Apostle Marion G. Romney
1 John 5:3; “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
Colossians 3:23; “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
Has the good Lord ever asked us to lie for Him or to do something that’s against His will?
Would God ever tell you to do anything that would dishonor Him?
Why would you knowingly do something wrong for a mere man?
Is this for God or for something/someone lesser than God?
If blindly following a person just because you’re told by a church leader to do it and it’s so bad that you need to repent is this from God?
Would God inspire someone to do this?
Have you ever blessed a child for sinning against you or the family?
What about a friend or spouse?
