North, Central or South America?
Joseph Smith Testimony 1:34; “He said there was a book deposited, written upon gold plates, giving an account of the former inhabitants of this continent, and the source from whence they sprang. He also said that the fulness of the everlasting Gospel was contained in it, as delivered by the Savior to the ancient inhabitants.”
Mark 13:31; “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”
Romans 15:4; “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”
Hebrews 2:1; “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.”
As someone who used to worship false gods in false temples I implore the body of Christ to take heed to the words of our God and Savior, Christ Jesus.
There is nothing in the false gospel of Mormonism that is from God. I repeat nothing. I’ve studied Mormonism my entire life – that’ll be 50 years – and I’ve yet to find anything at all in their message that resembles Judeo-Christianity.
One of the tell-tale signs the Mormon gospel is false is seen in the many contradictions. Today we’re looking at Smith’s testimony and you’ll notice his claim of how the Moroni (the angel of light) told him the BoM was about the inhabitants of THIS continent.
If they’re from THIS continent then why is the Church spending a boatload of money in Central and South America on archaeological digs looking for the all elusive “Nephites and Lamanites”?
Why is this angel bringing another gospel when our dear Lord who’s always watching over us has already provided His word to us? What in any part of the Bible does it hint at God’s word not being sufficient?
