Conference Report, April 1844, pp. 299-300; “We are now the most noble people on the face of the globe, and we have no occasion to fear
tadpoles. We are designated by the All-seeing Eye to do good, not to stoop to anything low. We are apt to suffer prejudice to get into our hearts on hearing reports. We never should allow it— …” – Hyrum Smith
Jeremiah 48:7; “For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together.”
The end results for the Israelites weren’t all that great as they kept sliding further and further away from the Lord. After He pleaded with them, sent His prophets to them, and showered them with one blessing after another, they still turned their backs on Him.
Mormon have done much the same with their false ideologies, and their introduction of the Egyptian false gods from long ago. Renaming them under the auspices of ‘Masonry’ isn’t a simple façade, but a bold, rebellious act of evil.
To compound the problem, by the time Hyrum Smith delivered his speech, Mormons were in open rebellion by practicing polygamy. Little did he know his days were numbered, and wouldn’t live to see the next conference in October.
If they had trusted in God’s word they would’ve seen another example of open rebellion from the life of Solomon.
1 Kings 11:7-8; “Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. 8 And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.”
Here’s what Matthew Henry had to say about Solomon’s shenanigans –
“Divine wisdom has appointed one woman for one man, did so at first; and those who do not think one enough will not think two or three enough. Unbridled lust will be unbounded, and the loosened hind will wander endlessly. But this was not all:
They were strange women, Moabites, Ammonites, etc., of the nations which God had particularly forbidden them to intermarry with, Some think it was in policy that he married these foreigners, by them to get intelligence of the state of those countries. I rather fear it was because the daughters of Israel were too grave and modest for him, and those foreigners pleased him with the looseness and wantonness of their dress, and air, and conversation.”
The similarities are striking are they not? All the women, and worshiping the false gods of Ammonites, and Moabites; you’d think he was talking about Mormons.
Today we’re also taking a look at the false god Horus, aka, the All-Seeing-Eye. Below is an excerpt from our article ‘Inverted Stain Glass Pentagrams’. Here’s the link if you’d like to read the article in full.
The All Seeing Eye is from the false god Horus. It is supposedly the left eye of the “moon” or “sound eye” of Horus, who is the son of Isis (mother goddess of nature and magic) and Osiris (god of the underworld). The full story of how their son Horus came into being is too sexually graphic for this website, but you can find the info anywhere on the net. The point to this entry should be obvious.
Why does the Mormon temple have this symbol on their “sacred” place of worship?
Mormons aren’t the only ones that utilize the All-Seeing Eye of Horus on their temples. The Masonic Lodge believes it is the watchful providence of God. As you can see from the example below, they’re no closer to the truth than Mormons are.
The Encyclopedia of Freemasonry says this about the All-Seeing Eye;
“…the Egyptians represented Osiris, their chief deity, by the symbol of an open aye, and placed this hieroglyphic of him in all their Temples…The All-Seeing Eye may then be considered as a symbol of God manifested in his omnipresence—…”The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding (or, as in the Revised Version, keeping watch upon) the evil and the good.” It is a symbol of the Omnipresent Deity.”
Here’s what the One True God of the Bible has to say about these false gods –
Psalm 135:15-18; “The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. 16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; 17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. 18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.”

FYI, you used the name Samson a couple of times when referring to Solomon. 🙂
Besides that, the article was amazing! This blog is such a blessing to me– I’m currently doing in-depth research on Mormon teachings in preparation for full-time mission work in Utah, and your insights are, to put it simply, invaluable.
Oh my goodness, how thankful I am for wonderful people like you who’d point this out for me!!! 🙂 The typos are fixed! 🙂
Also –
I have to say – each time I hear of someone going to Utah to minister to ‘my people’, I am humbled beyond belief.
Seriously, it brings me to my knees and I cry every single time. Even today after being saved over 20 yrs ago, I still cannot believe He saved me of all people!
As a little girl growing up in Ogden, I used to pray to Jesus and ask Him to send in the Christian people I kept reading about in the Bible. I was still convinced everything in Mormonism was okay – I was a child after all – but this burden on my heart wouldn’t go away. I had no clue just how ‘off’ they were/are.
God’s pretty amazing that way eh?
Thank you, and when/if you get the chance, perhaps you’d like to write a little piece explaining why you’re going to Utah of all places! It’d be a wonderful addition to the site.
Thanks so much and God bless you dear one!

1 Cor. 1:18
Wow. I’ve read your post many times, and it never fails to amaze me. We really do serve an awesome God, and not in the common sense of the word either.
I would be honored to write my story for your site! I can probably have it written by whenever you would want to post it.
Thanks again for all you do!
