August 9 – Luke 8:9-11; ‘And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.’

As you can see here, the Lord said we would know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. The mystery when understood by His followers is Jesus Christ Himself. Ask your Mormon friend why their teachings have made it into something it’s not. They believe their priesthood is what gives them the answers to the mystery of God.

From the book Answers: Straightforward Answers to Tough Gospel Questions, pgs. 218-9 it says; ‘…pure doctrine will always come through the channels the Lord has ordained. “This greater priesthood,” the Lord said, “administereth the gospel and holdeth the key of the mysteries of the kingdom, even the key of the knowledge of God” (D&C 84:19).

If it is NOT in the Bible, it is NOT from the LORD of the Bible.
PERIOD.
That is a simple way to know if what LDS says in speech or in their wriitngs is true. They have so much goobledegook in all their books, magazines, etc., and tangled together with some verses from the Bible, that a person can’t believe ANYTHING they say.
They don’t even know themselves what is exactly there has been written as there are many contradictions. Of course, they won’t admit this because Smith said that the BOM is without error!
