September 7 – What’s a Mormon to believe with major contradictions between BoM, and Doctrine and Covenants? Matthew 12:31; “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”

Mormons think there are three reasons you can’t be saved; apostasy, murder and blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Today we see that Alma taught otherwise. I’d ask why their scriptures contradict each other.
D&C 42:79 – no forgiveness for murder
D&C 85:11 – no forgiveness if you leave the church
D&C 132:27 – no forgiveness for blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
Furthermore, they also believe they’re only granted forgiveness through obedience – Miracle of Forgiveness, pp. 208-209 “…eternal life hangs in the balance awaiting the works of men…”

Alma 24:10; “And I also thank my God, yea, my great God, that he hath granted unto us that we might repent of these things, and also that he hath forgiven us of those our many sins and murders which we have committed, and taken away the guilt from our hearts, through the merits of his Son.”
Thank God, for my dirty, rotten, sinful self, that Mormonism is completely against the Word of God. Thank you Jesus for paying it all!
