Ensign, ‘The Power of Covenants,’ April 2009 “…Divine covenants make strong Christians. I urge each one to qualify for and receive all the priesthood ordinances you can and then faithfully keep the promises you have made by covenant. In times of distress, let your covenants be paramount and let your obedience be exact. Then you can ask in faith, nothing wavering, according to your need, and God will answer. He will sustain you as you work and watch. In His own time and way He will stretch forth his hand to you, saying, “Here am I.” …” — D. Todd Christofferson
Isaiah 6:8 “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
The Mormon people have been tricked into believing they need to work for a nonexistent covenant. There is no such thing as a ‘priesthood ordinance’ – especially on this side of the cross! Their priesthood covenant is nothing more than a satanic priestcraft designed to bring the doctrines of demons into their lives. This has no place in the life a true believer!
Secondly, their mandate to obey a covenant not found in the Bible has no place in the covenant God made with His creation which is found in the Bible. Proof of this is seen in the crucifixion of Christ Jesus. Galatians 2:20-21 tells us that if we work for salvation, Jesus died in vain.
Thirdly, the phrase, ‘Here am I’ is very distinct, and one with which believers are very familiar. The words represent the prophet Isaiah’s response when God asked who would go and tell the Israelites of their impending doom if they didn’t turn things around.
Furthermore, Mr. Christofferson’s arbitrary use of this phrase is another example of how the Church bypassed truth to inflate its lies. True Christians rely upon the power of God’s Holy Spirit as it says in 2 Corinthians 4:7.
Mr. Christofferson’s talk was quoted in a BYU Devotional just a couple of weeks ago we’ll be looking at tomorrow. That devotional was one of the worst things we’ve seen in quite some time, and provided further insight on the Church’s latest agenda — spiritual polygamy.
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
[One last thing! Lost in those lies is God’s description of His Trinitarian nature when He said, ‘Who will go for us?’. The word ‘us’ is the same description He used in Genesis 1:26 ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…’ — It’s no surprise they’d talk about this topic considering they don’t believe in the Trinity – It’s another brazen attempt to confuse members]
Your posts are hilarious. They don’t make any sense. Anyone who really studies the gospel can see you love to piece whatever you feel like to make your point. You have no understanding of anything as far as I have read in your posts. As I heard someone say before and you are applying it in this website: “Dazzle them with you BS”.
Hi Cindy, thanks for your comment. In all fairness, can you please explain how Michelle has bedazzled us w/ BS ? Michelle has stated many times, she will take down and apologize for any misinformation. But, I gotta tell you, obfuscating isn’t defending your position. You need to be able to back it up with facts evidence and truth. Please prove her wrong.
I myself would really like to know what exactly are the N T priesthood covenants. Please help us understand what this Ensign article means.
The main thing I took away from this article is all based on works, and what we have to do. Not what Jesus did on our behalf.
Cindy please do me a favor. Please read Galatians. It’s a small but powerful book. And it focuses on grace verses works and OT law.

Dear ‘anonymous’
We wanted to let you know we’re praying for you, and to thank you for writing in to us.
Not sure why you’d point out Ps 110:4. It’s a reference to King David singing hymns of worship to God in submission to His authority. Melchizedek was a priest forever to God, whereas Aaron was a priest to the people for a temporal amount of time. Jesus was/is like Melchizedek who intercedes for believers for all time, and eternity, just as Melchizedek.
Psalm 110:4 “The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.”
We pray you’ll read over the info provided, and come to know the Jesus of the Bible.
