If the Apostle Paul said it was okay to be single who are we to question? Clearly, the Mormon Church is wrong in their doctrinal mandate that all should be married. Ask the Mormon how Jesus could feel the pain of being single when they’ve always taught He was married.

October 2015 Conference Notebook; “For Single Adult Members Here is what three speakers said about being single… “Another painful affliction is the circumstance of singleness. Those who suffer this circumstance should remember that our Savior experienced this kind of pain also and that, through His Atonement, He offers the strength to bear it.” —Elder Dallin H. Oaks, “Strengthened by the Atonement of Jesus Christ,” 63.

My singleness is not a painful affliction. I think if missionaries were to knock on my door, I would ask them…What does your church have to offer a 53 year old single woman like me, that my church doesn’t? I wouldn’t have much hope of salvation if I converted to the LDS church 🙁.
But the good news is my salvation is in Jesus alone. I know for a fact God uses single people for his glory, because I’m one of those people.
Amen sister, amen!
