1 Nephi 22:31 “Wherefore, ye need not suppose that I and my father are the only ones that have testified, and also taught them. Wherefore, if ye shall be obedient to the commandments, and endure to the end, ye shall be saved at the last day. And thus it is. Amen.” – 600-570 BC
Matthew 24:13 “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” — 30 AD
Foregoing the ‘endure to the end’ mantra that bleeds its way through Mormonism, our focus today is on the obvious plagiarism in this passage.
The Book of Mormon claims Nephi wrote this c. BC 600-570. We’re wondering…
How did Nephi know about this verse 600 years before God directed Matthew to record the words of Jesus?
This passage reveals the sordid practice of a foreign god whose objective is to lead the Mormon people away from the One True God of the Bible. Our Lord would never plagiarize Himself, nor would He rewrite what He’s already declared perfect as He did in Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
As an FYI, today’s LDS reference is one of the 50+ times Smith plagiarized the Bible in 1st Nephi alone. The evidence speaks for itself, and is a devastating reminder of how deceitful Smith was in this!

Like I have said before, if the Mormons back in Joseph Smith’s day and the Mormons today, were familiar with the Bible, they wouldn’t have been deceived by Joseph Smith.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts (polygamy?) shall they heap to themselves teachers (JS),having itching ears. And they shall turn away from the truth (Jesus) and shall be turned into fables (BOM).” (2Timothy 4:3,4)
