June 28 – The significance of words. 1 Timothy 4:16 “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”

Today we’re praying Christians will take heed to not just God’s word, but the lies of Mormonism as well. As you read over the Mormon reference below, you should notice the contradictions this man taught as an LDS apostle which was shortly before he was called to be a prophet of all things.
Part of the m.o. for the Mormon Church is to malign the Lord. The target in their crosshairs varies from day to day, albeit, the end results will include anything having to do with God. Whether it’s the Lord Himself, the body of Christ, or His infallible word, it’s all the same to them. Their goal is to plant seeds of doubt, and this is sufficient enough for them. In today’s Mormon reference they’ve taken aim at the Bible – God’s infallible word. Keep in mind, by and large, the average Mormon may not realize just how malicious their own doctrine is towards God so when you witness take this into account.
Also notice I didn’t say they’re not responsible for their culpability in these things. It’s just that when you live in a constant state of denial, it’s hard, if not impossible, to see the forest for the trees.
With this reference I’d share with the Mormon how important the Bible is to a Christian. Our daily lives are so dependent upon it, we’d find it difficult, if not impossible, to go a day without His word.

Ensign, ‘A New Witness for Christ,’ November 1984, p. 7 “Combined with the Spirit of the Lord, the Book of Mormon is the greatest single tool which God has given us to convert the world… There will be more people saved in the kingdom of God—ten thousand times over—because of the Book of Mormon than there will be because of the Bible.”…The Book of Mormon… verifies and clarifies the Bible. It removes stumbling blocks, it restores many plain and precious things. We testify that when used together, the Bible and the Book of Mormon confound false doctrines, lay down contentions, and establish peace. (See 2 Ne. 3:12.)
We do not have to prove the Book of Mormon is true. The book is its own proof.
I testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of God; and therefore Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith is a prophet, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, with its authorized servants to perform the ordinances of salvation today, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.” – Ezra Taft Benson
Such hubris these false teachers have!!!!
The BOM can’t clarify and verify the Bible when it contradicts itself and the Bible.
“For by thy words shalt thou be justified and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37). Also, in AMOS 3:3 it says “Can two walk together unless they be agreed.?” If the Mormons do not believe every word printed in the Bible, if the have found reason to change those words or add on to those words, then according to Amos 3:3, they can not walk with God
