Investigating Mormonism?
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11
We’ve updated our article, ‘Investigating Mormonism’ and thought it’d make a great witnessing tool for those who will be visiting friends/relatives over the summer months.
You can find lots of basic beliefs about Mormonism to ask your loved ones for their opinion on these classic LDS doctrines.
As an FYI,, you can find it at the top of our homepage on the right hand side…
For anyone thinking about joining Mormonism, we highly encourage a healthy investigation into their basic beliefs, as well as the history of the Church.
We thought we’d list a few of the beliefs to aid in your studies, so here we go!
We pray everyone will be as those in Thessalonica, and study to see if the things of Mormonism are what God has ordained!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle

I read recently that that 35% of newly baptized members go inactive (less active) within a year; 50% go less active within 2 years. The General Authorities always blame this on the rank and file members. Its their fault that people aren’t hanging around.. The reality is, its the General Authorities and their insistence on preaching false doctrine that is causing people to leave the church. The continue to lie, deceive, discourage people from
“For they bind heavy burdens(callings, meetings, church maintenance, tithing settlements etc) and grievous to be borne and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves will not move with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men, they make broad phylacteries and enlarge the borders of their own garments. And they love the uppermost rooms at feasts and the chief seats in the synagogues (General Conference seating).. And greetings in the markets and to be called Rabbi. But be not called Rabbi: for one is your master, even Christ and all ye are brethren.” (Matthew 23:4-8)
The last 20 or so words from the above cites scripture is very telling. They don’t want to be called Rabbi, however, they do want people to revere them and to consider that every word they speak should be considered scripture.
Most GA’s are totally disconnected, not only from gospel reality, but from the very people they are supposed to serve (members)
