“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: But the word of our God shall stand for ever.” — Isaiah 40:8
Doctrines of Salvation 3:224 “At the command of the Lord, however, Moroni also sealed up the greater things in this vision and also the interpreters-which were the same “two stones” had by the Brother of Jared-so that this vision should not be made known even in our day among the Gentiles, in the day of their wickedness; it could not be revealed “until the day that they shall repent of their iniquity, and become clean before the Lord.” So we today do not have the fulness of the account written and sealed up by the Brother of Jared and again sealed by Moroni. This part of the record the Prophet Joseph Smith was forbidden to translate. We have, then, received but the “lesser part.”” — Joseph Fielding Smith
Proverbs 30:6 “Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
If you’re LDS what do the words of this prophet mean to, and for you?
What about the words of a ‘latter-day’ apostle who contradicted what Mr. Smith had to say?
Ensign, May 2007, p. 88; “This ancient volume of holy scriptures is a sacred companion to the Bible, containing the fulness of the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ.” – L. Tom Perry

We’re praying you trust Jesus, beloved!

The Bible, as we have it now, is exactly the Word of God that the Lord has intended us to have. Jesus used scripture (“Behold it is written”) as his weapon of choice when doing battle with the devil (Read Matthew 4 and Luke 4). Jesus knew the power that the Word of God had over Satan. For God to give his believers a faulty product in the Bible, would be like a military commander sending his troops to battle with defective weapons
“Joseph Smith’s Translation of the Bible” is pure evil. JS saying the Bible was incomplete without the BOM (Article 8 of Articles of Faith) was a lie straight from the pits of outer darkness.
