Doctrine and Covenants 97:16 “Yea, and my presence shall be there, for I will come into it, and all the pure in heart that shall come into it shall see God.”
Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”
Today we’re asking for Christians to simply ask the Mormon they know if they’ve seen the face of God.
If they haven’t seen Him in their temples it means Joe Smith lied. After 25+ yrs in ministry, I’ve not met one person who can say they’ve seen God while in the temple.
Pray for those who place their trust in Joseph Smith, and not Jesus Christ! Be sure to share the truth with them by explaining who Jesus is, and how they can have a saving knowledge of Him!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
“God, that made the world and AND ALL THINGS THEREIN, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and of earth, , DWELLETH NOT TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS.” (Acts 17:24)
Notice the capitalization of “and all things therein”. Mormons don’t believe that. Mormons believe that God made things from things that already existed. They believe God made the earth by gathering together a bunch of space rock and water from wherever (comets??), put them together into something that looked good and then called it earth.
Sorry, guys for this second comment, but I just couldn’t resist., In Acts 17:24, it clearly states that God does not dwell in Temples made by man. Try telling that to a Mormon. Many of them believe that Satan can not pass through the doors of the temple. Besides not having a temple recommend, God’s presence inside the temple won’t allow it.
Ever wonder why Mormon temples have security cameras and a security team (Department) at the temples?
No bother Soldiermp…Well said. And moreover, why do they have lockers?
