Today you might want to begin a thought provoking lesson for your Mormon friend. If what the teachers in the LDS Church say is true…1.Why did Jesus have to die for us here on earth? 2.Who would have been the saviour of the earth the Mormon god lived on when he was a man? 3.If God organized this earth like his heavenly father did, why haven’t they perfected the system yet? 4.If Jesus’ gospel is eternal, did he die more than once?

Gospel Through the Ages, p. 104; “The Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that God the Eternal Father is an exalted being…The Mormon prophets have continuously taught the sublime truth that God the Eternal Father was once a mortal man who passed through a school of earth life similar to that through which we are now passing. He became God – an exalted being – through obedience to the same eternal Gospel truths that we are given opportunity today to obey.”
The Mormon prophets have taught.( bla, bla, bla). What they have taught should be enough to give any Bible believing, Born Again Christian, reason to give pause.
The Mormon prophets, by the mere words of their mouths, have created,
within the Mormon Church, an atmosphere of confusion, desperation, anxiety, persecution, ignorance and fear. “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
I understand that Utah has one of the highest prescription rates for antidepressant medicine. Have you guys heard that same statistic?
Soldiermp, it’s sad but very true. Also, Utah has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation. You can read about it here in the sidebar topics, under “suicide rates in Utah”. What should one expect when striving for perfection, and God’s grace is only merited “after ALL you can do”?
