October 4 – LDS Uninspired Canon. Luke 2:4-6 “And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.”

Matthew 2:1 also attests to the fact Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Amazing that no matter where you look in scripture, it never contradicts itself! Now, in the lesson from our Mormon ‘scripture’ today, it says Jesus was born in Jerusalem. The Mormon will tell you Jerusalem and Bethlehem are suburbs of each other. They are actually six, or so, miles apart. If the Book of Mormon is really true, don’t you think they would have the inspiration from God not to make such a grave error?

Alma 7:10 “And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.”
The Mormon church does not encourage its members to read the Bible, like it does the BOM, because it is afraid that people (members) are going to see these contradictions. The members would then ask the General Authorities for answers. The GAs cannot answer these questions because their entire focus has always been on the BOM and on how to guilt trip people into pay their tithes so that they can attend the temple more often
