To all our veterans, we extend a major thanks! We pray daily for the Lord to hold and keep you – and thank Him for your selfless service to keep all of us safe no matter how long you served!

” I have found no greater faith, no, not in all of israel”. Jesus speaking about the Centurion. A Roman Soldier, deployed to a far away land. He likely had at some time heard Jesus speaking and he knew that the words the poken by Jesus were the Words of God. He asked Jesus to heal his servant, likely a Jew. Jesus said that he would go with him to his home to heal his servant. The centurion told Jesus that he wasn’t worthy of Jesus entering his home. Jesus healed his servant at that moment. In fact, when Jesus heard the Centurion request regarding his servant, the Bible says that Jesus” marvelled”. Here was this soldier, an enemy combatant, sent far away from home to occupy the city of Capernaum. It was this lonely Roman Soldier that displayed the kind of faith that we should all strive for.
God bless our soldiers. God bless our vets. When a soldier enters into the fiels of combat, he realizes that the comfort of his soul lies in only one of two places; his buddies and his faith in God.
