December 2 – Time with God is Time Well Spent. 2 Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

The word of God is faithful and true! He tells us all the time to beware of those who will lead us away from the truths in His word. Always remember my friends, it only takes a couple of minutes of your day to check up on the resources you’re given to see if they’re theologically sound. The Lord has implemented many safeguards to protect us and His word should be at the top of everyone’s list of where to go for His counsel.
Speaking of time, today we’re looking at the Book of Mormon anachronisms. The Greek word ‘Bible’ shows up in the BoM 11 times. Did you know the word ‘Bible’ isn’t in your Bible?
Joe Smith wanted everyone to believe people in 570 BC were using Bibles and the name of Jesus. The problem?
Greek wasn’t a language until 223 BC. How were these men living on the American Continent aware of the Greek language? There was no e-mail, or any mail system at all for that matter. For more info see Greek & Latin word chart, and be sure to ask a Mormon for their opinion about this!

2 Nephi 29:6 “Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?”
The more such information becomes available for public consumption, the more worried the LDS Church becomes worried. As I mentioned in an earlier message, the story of Lynn Wilder and her husband Mike’s, exodus from Mormonism is the best read I have ever had explaining and describing a Mormon family’s journey away from the faith
If you a chance guys, read Lynn Wilder’s book “Unveiling Grace”.
