January 12 – Hiding Behind the Lies. 1 Timothy 3:2 “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach”.
_____
Paul was obviously making sure men of the church understood their roles as leaders. They’re to be blameless, sober, understanding, oh, and only have one wife. More than one causes strife, leads to incest, rebellion, jealousy, malcontent…
However, we see in other Mormon scriptures where they’ve conveniently hidden behind their many lies. Their gospel is a charade to trick the unsuspecting.
_____
D&C 49:16 “Wherefore it is lawful that he should have one wife, and they twain shall be one flesh, and all this that the earth might answer the end of its creation”. Ask your Mormon friend what they think of this verse in light of D&C 132:4.
“”Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether or not they be of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)
FOR EXAMPLE
Had the early and current members of the church read what the Bible says about the qualifications of a DEACON, they would have given pause, especially if they were familiar with Biblical scripture.
In the Mormon church a Deacon is usually between 12, 13 years old. He has obtained the entrance level of the Aaronic Priesthood
In 1 Timothy 3:12, however, the Bible says: “A DEACON must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his house well.”
In other words, God had no intention of using twelve and thirteen year old boys as DEACONS in HIS CHURCH. Not unless, of course, God intended 12 and 13 year old boys to be husbands and fathers.
Joe Smith, totally ignored God’s will (WORD) in putting together the organizational map of his church.
Warning to the Mormon Church: In Hosea 4:6: God said, “My people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.”
Knowledge comes from reading and accepting God’s Word (Bible) as being God’s will. God’s Word is not something to change or alter in a way.
The Mormon church will eventually implode because they (Church) have refused God’s knowledge (Bible) and instead, gone after the directions(Words) given them by a false prophet.
