January 11 – Mormon Definition Desecrates Jesus’ Holy Name. Alpha. This is the first letter of the Greek alphabet which originates from the Hebrew. There’s no contraction of this because it’s simply a letter, and neither are there any derivatives. The same can be said for the last letter of the Greek alphabet, ‘Omega’. Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

The meaning of Alpha, quite simply, means beginning, just as Omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet means end. Jesus’ title is applied to both the Father and the Son (Rev. 21:6, Rev. 22:13) which is a clear indication of Jesus’ deity. Jesus used these letters to show that God existed before all time, and will continue to exist afterwards, thus, it leaves no room for any other god in between. Is. 43:10 It also tells us Jesus was with the Father in the pre-existence before mankind. John 1:1-3; John 8:54; Col. 1:17
Sadly, Mormons have believed the lies of Joseph Smith, and rejected what our dear sweet Jesus has so plainly explained to us.

Mormon Doctrine, p. 31 “ALPHUS…See ALPHA AND OMEGA, CHRIST, OMEGUS. One of the name-titles of Christ is Alphus (D. & C. 95:17), a derivative of the Greek Alpha. Use of this title emphasizes our Lord’s high status of godhood in pre-existence; he was God from eternity; by diligence and obedience, while yet a Spirit Being, he became “like unto God” the Father. (Abra. 3:22-24.)”
The Mormons relationship with God is much like Eve’s relationship with God and Satan. God instructed Eve not to eat of the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge and Good and Evil.
Satan (Mormonism) comes along and tells the woman, forget about what God said (Bible), but rather listen to what I am telling you (BOM; DOC;) In Genesis 3:1; The devil starts to tempt Eve by casting DOUBT on what God said; “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the Garden?” The Doubting of God’s Word can be seen in Article 8 of the Articles of Faith. Then, in (GENESIS 3:4), the devil says: “You will not certainly die. For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be open and yoU will be like God (DC 132:19-21). In this verse, the devil casts DENIAL on God’s Word. First, DOUBT and then DENIAL. His tactics have never changed. In DC 132;19-21. Joe Smith tells his followers they can become gods, EXACTLY like what the devil told Eve in the Garden of Eden when he said, “Your eyes will be open and you will be like God”
Satan’s tactics of Doubt followed by Denial, have never changed throughout the years. Doubt causes people to pause and question God. After reflecting on their doubts, then denial sets in.
Satan used the same tactics on Adam and Eve that he used on Joe Smith and his followers.Satan doesn’t have to change his tactics. They have worked since the beginning time. Doubt followed by Denial
amen brother, a hearty amen to that!
Interesting that you are using the same tactics against members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as you say Satan used – first “doubt” and then “denial.” This to be used against people of faith?? Anything that moves a person to do good is of God . . . seems to me. Who are you to cast doubt? Are you in possession of all truth? Are you perfect? (Matt. 5:48) Judge not that you be not judged.
Hi Anonymous and welcome,
First of all, people usually come to the these kinds of websites because they’re already doubting or investigating the claims of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So doubt was already there.
The LDS missionaries, and Joseph Smith use the same tactics you say are used by Satan, to cast doubt on the Christian Church. By telling us all our creeds are an abomination and casting doubt on the reliability of the Bible. (See the 8th article of faith). Satan already knows that he can not touch God’s perfect and inerrant Word (The Holy Bible). He can only plant the seed of doubt. The Bible is 100% reliable. This ministry is here to share God’s Truth not my truth not your truth, but God’s Truth from the Bible. God promises His Word can be trusted, again and again. See, Psalm 119:160, Luke 21:33, John 17 :17…
As Christians we go to the Word as our Authority. We don’t have to pray to KNOW it’s true, like with the Book of Mormon- (Moroni 10:4).
I sure hope this helps to give you a better idea of what this ministry is about. If you have any more questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
