General Conference, Apr. 2012 “Melchizedek Priesthood holders who are fathers in sealed families have been taught what they must do. There is nothing that has come or will come into your family as important as the sealing blessings. There is nothing more important than honoring the marriage and family covenants you have made or will make in the temples of God.” —President Henry B. Eyring, Families under Covenant
John 14:5-6 “Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Oswald Chambers once asked “Are you on your way to Jerusalem with Jesus”?
That question has guided my actions on many occasions. Jesus knew what He had to do. He had come for the very purpose of walking into Jerusalem to fulfill His mission for the Father. He was the sacrifice each of us is in need of and yet we’re reluctant at times to throw caution to the wind and follow Him – exclusively.
Where in the Mormon guidance from a man who was supposedly called of God do you find anything to do with Jesus or Jerusalem? Why are sealing ordinances the epitome of what you must do in life? Isaiah 64:6 says our works are as filthy rags and everything we do will fade as a leaf – our iniquities, like the wind, has taken us away…
Are you on your way to Jerusalem not just today, but right this moment?

The quote from Henry B Eyring:: “There is nothing that has come or will come into your families as the SEALING BLESSINGS. There is nothing more important than honoring the marriage and family covenants that you made or will make in the Temples OF God.” The key words here are SEALING BLESSINGS and TEMPLES OF GOD. These words are used as a means of solidifying the Mormon belief that they are :Gods only true church”
As far as the Mormons are concerned, you can’t do anything “everlasting” unless it is done in one of the Mormon temples. You can’t get into a Mormon temple, unless you pass the temple worthiness interview. If, for example, you are not a full tithe payer, you can’t enter the temple, which means your marriage and your children are second rate in the eyes of God.
The church indoctrinates it’s members this way because:: a) The church needs your money. Why not convince people that they can’t have God’s eternal blessings unless they pay a full tithe. This must be done in order to be able to gain access to the temple; b) The Mormons want their members to believe that they are special in the eyes of God (God’s only true church)
Being a member of the Mormon church does not make anybody special in the eyes of God; Faith in Jesus Christ is what makes us special in the eyes of God
